SALON: Plein Air exhibition

The Gallery at Arts Illiana is pleased to present SALON: Plein Air, an exhibition celebrating the creativity and talent showcased during the William T. Turman Plein Air Competition. The Main Gallery features a collection of competition artwork selected from the event, while the award-winning paintings are exhibited concurrently at the Swope Art Museum, our partner in this annual exhibition.

In the North Gallery, featured artist Amy MacLennan presents a collection of expressive oil paintings, drawings, and pastels that capture the character of landscapes, people, and rural places through vibrant brushwork and a keen observation of everyday life.

 

We invite you to experience both exhibitions and celebrate the rich tradition of plein air painting in the Wabash Valley.
